Unconditional love, caring, understanding and a lot other values can be found in a friend. Each experience shared with a friend is really worth remembering, especially if it is an experience with a best friend. The fact of having someone who will always be there for you especially during the hardest times in life, makes the entire journey worth it.

It is not easy to get comfortable with someone else. Much more someone who has different traits and characteristics other than yourself. Initially, you'll doubt if that certain person will always be sincere and if you can fully trust that person. Sharing secrets and views about life is another thing. We can keep those secrets within ourselves but it would be much better if you will have someone you can share them with. It makes the burden lighter and it makes the relationship with that person stronger. Knowing that no matter what happens, those things will always be safe with your friend.

I have a lot of friends but there are only a few I can consider as true friends, those who are worth keeping. One of them happens to be my brother's girlfriend. She has been my friend even before they met with my brother. I can attest that the friendship has already been tested through time. And our loyalties are with each other. She has always been there for me since the start of the friendship. We have learned to compromise if the situation requires it. And I've been there for her too. Those times shared with her will always stay in my heart. We have our own ups and downs but that didn't affect the relationship. We have been through a lot and we knew that we will always be there for each other. We already consider each other as family. And the love and understanding between us, be it in words or in action, will never ever fade.

I am keeping her no matter what happens. It is not everyday that you get to bump into someone, you can be comfortable with, someone who shares your sentiments and who can give you understanding more than anyone else. She is my best friend for life. And I will be the best of friend for her.

Life is just a one way journey. No returns, no rewinds. Might as well, on each of our journeys, make some friends, good friends you can keep for life. So that when your sun is about to set, you knew that you have those people you've loved and who have been loving you. And you go on happily without regrets. Friends for Life.
