Are there easy ways to lose weight?......yes, yes, yes. Oh, my goodness yes! Losing weight can be easy and fun, but only IF YOU REALLY WANT TO DO IT! It has been my experience that as long as the body is alive; it will fight to heal itself and adapt to its surroundings. Shedding the mental fat is where the support groups, tools, and rewards come in to play by keep us motivated and driven for the cause.

The body responds accordingly to whatever lifestyle you choose to live. If you have a sit down job, take the elevator, and circle parking lots for the closest spot, then your body will become accustomed to remaining stationary for long periods of time. It may or may not cause you to have a weight problem, but it will cause your muscles unable to perform to their peek ability, potentially giving you a slower metabolism.

The same is true if you have a very physical job, or lifestyle, but continue to eat over fatty, nutrient-low meals. You again may not have a weight problem, but internally your body will begin to lack the potential to perform at its best, or worse may over perform common functions leading to a whole other set of problems.

Picture a home, which houses two cars, car A and car B. Car A is constantly stationary, given little to no maintenance and hardly ever driven only for the occasional errand near the home a few times a month. Where Car B is driven daily, given the proper type of fuel and has maintenance preformed regularly.

I ask you what are the expectations of car A and Car B? Well, car A as you can imagine is unpredictable and may not be able to start when the weather gets bad, or when you really need to use it; it becomes unreliable and hasn't held up to the performance which you expected. Where car B, has started every time you needed it and has ran its best in all situations. Both cars eventually get older, and don't perform as well as when they were new. But car B was there when you needed it and carried you from point A to point B (no pun intended!). You treated it right and in turn it acted right for you.

The human body is the similar, a phenomenal specimen! When you cut yourself it reacts. It pushes out toxins and begins the processes of regeneration. Just what you see on the outside is a mere glimpse of what goes on, on the inside. If you give the body the proper balance of meals and exercise, it will respond. I think what a lot of us fail to realize is that, while losing weight can be fun and easy it will not happen overnight,
