The most annoying comeback in the world, "I know you are, but what am I." This is the more mature version of, "I'm rubber. You're glue. Whatever you say slides off me and sticks to you." It works well for siblings whose favorite sport is insulting you. But don't be surprised if the sibling rolls her eyes and says, "That's so immature." On the other hand, she can say another insult, thereby providing you with another opportunity to use this comeback.

The best sarcastic comeback, "You're so sweet you're giving me cavities."
This works well as a response to false compliments or insults. And this one does not inspire any comebacks.

The best startled comeback, "Who are you and what did you do with"+fill in the blank. This can inspire sarcasm on the part of the listener.

The best comeback for indirectly showing affection, "You, too."
