We are witnessing the latest game between Manchester United and Arsenal which means that another biography is needed. Carlos Tevez is currently the second striker for Manchester United. He is also known as "the Argentine Prophet for the 21st Century" by Diego Armando Maradona.

How did Carlos Tevez arrive at the peak of his career with Manchester United? The answer lies in his life story and his career.Carlos Tevez was born Carlos Alberto Martinez on the 5th of February 1984 in Ciudadela, Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was raised in the neighborhood called Fuente Apache.

Fuente Apache was the informal name of Ejercito De Los Andes. He has a scar as a result of being scalded by accident with boiling water. The accident left him with third degree burns, and a burn scar from his right ear to his chest. The result left him in an intensive care unit for almost two months. It was also during this time that his name was changed to Carlos Tevez during a battle between All Stars and Boca Junior.

He started his football [soccer] career with All Stars in 1992 and remained with the team until his transfer to Boca Juniors in 1996. When Tevez arrived at Boca Juniors, he received an offer to cosmetically improve himself and remove the scars. He refused the offer stating that the scars were part of his personality of what he was, is, and will be in the future.

Tevez spent his youth and professional career in Boca Juniors from 1997 to 2004. It was during his professional career that he managed to score twenty six goals within seventy five appearances. He participated in the Intercontinental Cup, Copa Sudamericana, and Copa Libertadores.

Tevez transferred to the Corinthians and played there from 2005 to 2006 where he scored thirty one goals within fifty three appearances. During his period with the team, he was the squad captain for the 2005 Campeonato Brasileiro. He was also the first Non Brazilian to be named the League's Best Player by the Brazilian Football [Soccer] Federation.

After Brazil, he moved to England where he signed with West Ham United and eventually Manchester United. His career with Wet Ham United was marked with seven goals within twenty six appearances. He was also named Hammer of The Year. He finally signed with Manchester United in the year 2007. He scored seventeen goals within sixty appearances during his time with Manchester United.

The exploits of Carlos Tevez in Argentine Football was big news since he helped his country win the Gold Medal during the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece. He also participated in the 2006 World Cup in Germany. His goals with the Argentine National Team were eight within forty eight appearances.
