Depending on what your reason and intention is for searching out information on a religion should determine the path that you should take for finding answers. Everyone has a different perspective on what religion really is and what God really means to them and that is why we see so many different sects and even conflict in all types of religions. If you are a genuine truth seeker it is best for you to start your own individual search at the source. If you are new to spirituality or anything that has to do with religion in general, you want to go directly to God in prayer, in whatever way, thru whatever Deity or concept that best fits your own description of God and ask for the revelation that you need to get you on the right track.
