Every man will marry the women in his life for a variety of different reasons. Unconditional acceptance otherwise known as love should be the key reason. However in this day and age, fear of being alone is another motivating factor. Our society has created within people this misconception that a person cannot be happy unless they have a marriage and family. Unfortunately this misconception leads to many men making the decision for marriage long before they are ready. Pressure from other entities such as their family or the family other significant other also can cause significant rushing in making this very important like decision. Each person will understand when it is ripe for them to make such a life changing commitment. Pressure should never be placed on this individual to make such a choice. Doing so will only create problems later on in the relationship.

Taking a woman to be your wife is the ultimate commitment. This pledge is to protect her interests at all times. To honor the person that she is and was for all the rest of her days. To expect and be willing to accept the changes of life that develop during the relationship. Marriage must however be free will choice otherwise it will not last as it was intended to. Love gives strength and courage where it once was not present. Unfortunately many men do not think this decision through fully and therefore look outside the relationship for companionship rather quickly after making the commitment. This is because, once again fear of being alone is a motivating factor in the decision.

Some men may mistake of marrying for professional reasons. They want any woman to be a the trophy wife. This will help their public perception and career attention. This is more of a business relationship than a personal connection and while these situations can work short-term, most often they do not last for a wide number of years unless the women involved is very materialistic and does not require significant amounts of affection and attention. Being happy does not have a price tag, however unfortunately some men operate under the assumption that it can be bought. Still other men are motivated by that needs to have a caretaker. They never separated completely from the emotional ties to their mother and therefore are actually looking for a mother figure that also has sexual benefits. Thus, they married to have someone take care of them and not out of love at all.
