Celebrity Apprentice 2
For me, this season of Celebrity Apprentice is over. I had made the remark during this week's episode that Donald was going to manipulate the firing so that Annie and Joan would be the last two celebrities standing, and therefore have to compete against each other. They have had a rivalry (and basically hated each other) throughout the majority of the show, especially when Joan was sent to the other group without her daughter. She spent more time whining about how her daughter was being treated than she did working on her tasks. I knew having them both on the show at the same time was a bad idea from the get go. Aside from that, I thought Joan was extremely petty and it drove me crazy week after week listening to her tirades. When it comes to Melissa, the apple did not fall far from the tree. She was petty, paranoid, and obstinate. Neither of them seem to be very nice people in reality. Neither of them deserved to get as far as they did, let alone having Joan be in the top 2, with the chance to win the whole show.
I didn't care much for Annie either, she was pushy and walked all over everyone on her team. It was all about the "I" with her. Obviously though, these are the kinds of people Donald Trump gravitates towards. People who are back-stabbers and will step on whoever they have to to get to the top. I, for one, am pretty sick of seeing that.
My pick for the winner was Jesse James. He was surprisingly smart and capable of doing excellent work when it came to the tasks. He seemed to have a lot of graphics knowledge and had some foresight into what would be good advertising. He worked hard, didn't complain like many of the others, and really, in my opinion, gave a lot of credit to the blue collar worker. I was very impressed with his performance and thought he should have ended up in the top 2. It would have been way more interesting to see how his quiet confident nature could compare to the loud mouth, all about me, Annie. It would have been very satisfying to see her taken down by someone who showed a great sense of being a team-player and a great work ethic. But I guess us poor people can never understand the nuances of the upper class, and their idea of entertainment. I am reminded of last years winner Piers who also seems to be a total jackass. Good luck in future years Donald, I have grown tired of the premise of the show. Let me know though, if you would like some better ideas.
