Often times one pictures expensive designer shoes as impractical nosebleed heels that should be saved only for the catwalk. In magazines, the fashion articles always include pictures of "must-have" pumps costing upwards of five hundred dollars and made from what appears to be plastic. While reading "People" magazine and seeing the veins popping from the tops of Mrs. Beckham's Christian Louboutin cradled feet, keep in mind that not all women's designer shoes are this absurd. Splurging on one pair of designer shoes will save you many fifteen dollar Payless charges in the future.

There are many reasons designer shoes can be the best choice. The number one reason to choose designer is the material. The materials used in cheap shoes simply are not built to last. If you want to shop wisely, choosing a shoe with quality materials is like investing. Are you really wasting money if you are buying a shoe that will be on your feet in a couple of decades? While trends come and go, quality material will always be in style.

Designer shoes are specially crafted for the wearer. What the shoes on the shelves of Shoe Shack lack are talent; good craftsmanship costs money. When you buy a pair of designer shoes it is likely that scientific research has been done to ensure that you will not just see, but feel the quality. Expensive shoes are often balanced in a way that makes them far more comfortable than cheaper alternatives. Many women claim that they can only wear designer heels, not because of an inflated ego, but because designer shoes are made to properly embrace the human foot. Cheaper shoes are simply designed to look good on a shelf so you take them home with you. Putting your feet in designer shoes means a healthier, more comfortable experience.

The final reason designer shoes are a wonderful choice is their enduring style. Because designers know that a customer paying for their shoe is going to expect to wear it for a long time, a designer shoe usually follows along classier colors, textures and silhouettes. Bargain shoes are simply not made to be in your closet for years, and therefore tend to be strictly trendy and (dare I say it) tacky. Just like quality materials and craftsmanship, shoe style is an important part of finding a pair that will last. Investing in a pair of basic black heels or flats that are designer will mean having that pair of shoes, potentially, for decades. Having to keep purchasing cheap, trendy shoes will quickly dry up your bank account and exceed the price of a classic, quality pair. Designer shoes will remain in style for many years and will quickly pay for themselves.

Investing in designer shoes will ensure that you will be able to walk comfortably for many years in a shoe with a flattering, classic design. You only have two feet that have yet to carry you many miles, so show them some gratitude with a designer shoe. Every person with respect for their body should invest in one pair of quality designer shoes. In order to feel beautiful, every woman should consider starting from the ground up.
