Poetry: Mother

by Ikaros Marks

Created on: May 05, 2009

When I was young, and I used to fall,

you would clean me up, you would cure it all

And when I cried, You would hold me close

Never let me groan, never be alone
You, you have held my hand

Shown me how to stand, How to be a man

Yet, there will come a day

When I will turn away, and leave you naught to say

But you know me

You have grown me

You always shown me

How I need to beYou stood beside me all the time

Always told me hold the line

Always let me know it'll be fine

I am yours, you are mine

Mother
