This is being answered by a non-scientist. Well, not the kind of scientist that could try and explain whether or not cellular memory is a fact of science or science fiction. Believing that something as small as a human cell can hold memories or dreams or a way to find other people in a family is mind-boggling, but if we have an open mind, anything is possible. Is it possible that someone living today has cells in their body that could have come from someone like, say, Jesus Christ? Or what about Adolf Hitler? This is most likely impossible, but just imagine.

Cellular memory is defined as the following: "Every cell in our body has the abilityto remember. Our Cellular Memory can store the memory of physical trauma like accidents, cuts, bruises, surgeries, or abuse; emotional trauma like heartache, fear, built and anger; and mental trauma that manifests in low self-esteem, unworthiness, worry, etc. When trauma is suppressed into the cellular memory, that energy can get stuck. The problem with suppressed cellular memory is not only does it limit our ability to live freely and joyfully in life but it can also support the body in developing physical illness." What is interesting here is this: This writer remembers several years back when his father was recovering from hernia surgery. His father explained to him a dream he had while he was under the effects of anesthesia. He said that he remembered seeing a heavy set woman taking a child by the arm and swinging him around like a rag doll. This was sort of scary and this writer asked his father if he recognized the heavy set woman. He did not respond and all that this writer could think about is his grandmother or something from a movie that my father's memory may have obtained. Or was it his cells outside of brain cells that were retaining some information that he was unaware of?

Cellular memory is something that is highly possible. Or maybe we are taking the fact that cells transferred from one person into another person's body also transfer that person's personality as well as that person's thought processes. Interesting? No, just science fiction at this point. Still, this writer does have an open mind and will say this: there have been so many instances of events like near death experiences, people reacting different after surgery and a long recovery period that they have actually changed completely from before the surgery.

Scientists are probably looking at the possibility of cellular memory. There are many question still needing to be answered. One day the truth will be told.
