Christians as a whole have left behind the teachings of Christ and blindly followed Paul and more recently any priest, clergyman, pope or leader that changes the original doctrine to suit their desires.

Jesus did teach in a highly respected way which goes without saying that followers of Christ should do as he did. He did not teach by implying "Do as I say and not as I do."

So if anyone does question my opinion that Christians as a whole do not follow Jesus at all then answer me these questions;

Why do Christians eat pork, when Jesus did not?

Why do Christians not circumcise themselves when Jesus was circumcised?

Why do Christians not put their face on the ground when they pray as Jesus did pray and teach his followers to do the same?

Why do Christians not refrain from pre-marital sex, drugs, alcohol, abusive actions and language, gossip (back-biting), slandering, blasphemy against God, etc if they truly want to follow Jesus?

The answer is simple, Christianity is not Jesus' religion or way of life but rather Christianity is a religion based on Jesus.

Jesus came to bring the truth about God and to uphold the commandments he invited all to worship God together. Nowadays Christians invite all to worship "Jesus" together and indeed that was not the intention of Jesus, if it were the intention of Jesus for us all to worship Him as God, then as the brilliant messenger and teacher that He was He would have mentioned that most important fact every time He opened His mouth.

It's also said that Christianity is a peaceful religion and that may be so when confronted with the commandments and laws in the bible itself, but they must be adhered to in order for them to be shown. It's no good saying you are Christian but you drink every night, have multiple sex partners, take drugs and watch porn, I'm sure Jesus would approach you when he returns but not with opened arms rather an unsheathed sword.

I know that many are genuine Christians searching for a way to live as Jesus intended them too, to these people I say consult the bible yourself become familiar with what sounds true,pure and noble to you and follow that. There are too many preachers and churches that instill propaganda into their followers' hearts making it hard for these people to recognise the truth when they see it, don't listen to anyone preaching, go out and investigate the most important thing in your life and when it feels true and it works then it most likely is true.
