It was three years ago when I first went on my "ghost hunter" trip with some friends. The destination was The Blue Ghost Tunnel, The Screaming Tunnel and Victoria Lawn Cemetary - all in St Catharines, Ontario. It was fun but frustrating taking pictures with our cell phones.
First of all we would be dressed warm, but the temperature would drop 10 to 20 degrees. Then we wouldn't see anything but you could feel the hair standing up on the back of your neck while something brushed passed you. If your arms were bare, you would feel a certain coldness touching you. Many times you spin around and there's nothing there. Click goes the camera, and to the visual eye, nothing. Yet the camera tells a different story, bright round balls called orbs, distinct bright lines of energy or squiggly lines. Orbs the colours of red, blue or white. I've been told the red and blue ones, are negative or angry energy. The white ones are spirits hanging around.
Some people seem to draw more attention from orbs then others. When I visited the Blue Ghost Tunnel, I could sense something around me, a certain cold chill that went up and down my spine. Click went the camera and a gasp of delight was heard from the crowd looking at the picture of me, with about 50 orbs surrounding me. I had never seen an orb in my life, at first I figured it's water spots or possibly the humidity. Then I noticed other pictures, didn't have the orbs, yet the people around me did. We were all standing within 6 ft of each other, so there was no other reason. Then the picture over by the Old Pump House, near the West End of The Blue Ghost Tunnel. A huge orb appeared about 4x6ft over a man's head. At first I thought it was the moon, but when I looked, the moon was to the right at least several feet away from where the picture was taken. A mystery was born, a driving force enticing me to do some research on this mysterious orb. No one could explain why it was there.
As far as I knew, only two "firemen" were killed in a train wreck 100 ft from the West End of The Blue Ghost Tunnel back in 1903. It happend near the Merritton Tunnel in Thorold, Ontario. It is now deemed The Blue Ghost Tunnel because a chap named Russ saw a bluish plasma of a woman dancing in the tunnel and she appeared in his picture. (Hamilton Paranormal)
That's when I went through the site and read about a graveyard of 963 people! Only 200 or so had been moved to higher ground, the remaining 663 graves were buried under a pondage area by The Old Pump House,
