What is the greater challenge in accepting Christianity: Intellectual or moral?

The greater challenge in accepting Christianity is intellectual. People almost always expect for religions to be moral or ethical, they do not expect however for a religious person to also know the theory of evolution. People will run to religion when a certain emotional, psychological, or spiritual need pops up, but when there is an intellectual need religion is the last place people will run to. Morality is expected to be part and parcel of religion but intellect is not. This of course is the fault of our current day church and our separation of spirituality and intellect, or faith and intellect. We have come to believe that faith or spirituality should be separate from intellect. This is a grave mistake and opposite from what we have been shown both in the bible and in church history. If more Christians took the time to include their intellect in their faith, there would be more unity, growth and power within the church instead of so many sects, heresies, and denominations.

First and foremost throughout the bible we that people's faith in God was backed by evidence. Faith as stated in Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Most Christians will focus on things not seen when first and foremost there needs to be evidence. When God spoke to Moses the first thing he was given were signs, evidence, to prove that God had sent him, because even back then believing in something without evidence was to not be in touch with reality. Sadly many Christians may believe in something good, but their basis for this belief is not concrete. When Gideon was asked to lead the Israelites into war the first thing he asked for was a sign, evidence. I mean wouldn't you? If you had a vision of an angel or heard the voice of God, it would be easier for you to be considered to be psychotic rather than spiritual unless there was a sign. Even back then people knew this. Today we take this knowledge for granted and like to believe that faith is built on some kind of blind sight and on top of that we think this should be rewarded. On the contrary we must know that faith alone does not making something true, but truth brings faith. Truth is the reason we believe. Paul says in 1Cor 15:14-18 that if Christ is not risen from death then our preaching and faith is useless. There is no point whatsoever in believing in something unless there is some truth behind
