This will probably not be the best article i have ever written by far but I felt a need to share the idea.
I have always felt the need to do something different and I came up with just that kind of idea for an eighth grade science fair. Granted I did have particular situations at my disposal that some may not, but with a little imagination or maybe even a boss that is willing to help, it could work.
The Question was does stress affect our handwriting.
My mother owned her own business so she was able to assist in actually carrying out the test for me. She called each of her employees into the conference room one by one, door locked, and told them she wanted them to write, in their own words what they believed their job description to be, and then set a time limit, 3 minutes I believe. If you can get a downsizing or layoff rumor started prior too, the test could potentially have greater results.
After they were all done with this part, their job descriptions were taken and typed out on a computer and they were all called into the conference room together. They told it was just a project that had no emphasis on their jobs and asked to re write the information they had previously written and handed the typed copy of their work.
Once the writing samples were all collected, they were compiled into order from most change to least change, the outcome was amazing.
I received first place in my school and third place at regional with this simple project.
Like I said this is more of information sharing than a well written article so for that I do apologize, but if you would like more information on this project from me, let me know.
