Reasons why a family falls apart

Created on: May 03, 2009

Family is supposed to be one of the most important aspects of our lives once we achieve the level of wanting to settle down, marry and have children of our own. Family is supposed to be the ones you are closest with being your spouse and your children who you created out of love.

The ideal picture of a family includes a father, a mother, a couple of kids and maybe a family pet living united together by love. Unfortunately thats only in fantasy land. The brutal truth of reality leaves us with broken homes and single parents. how do families fall apart?

Every family has their reasons when things get rough and sometimes just give up without a second thought. Some marriages end because the couple grows apart and realize too late this isn't what they had wanted when they were first married. even with counselling marriages can fall apart if both parties aren't willing to cooperate to make it work.

Infidelity is the deal breaker in some cases. Whatever reason the cheating spouse cheats for could have been avoided with a little extra attention to what was happening in the marriage and maybe a little communication could help prevent it. Careers and money are also another major stress on todays marriages. Although many may say it's impossible, many couples have overcome infidelity in their relationships and moved on.

One makes too much or too little the couple battle over bills and it ends up in a "what i pay for is mine" war. Careers can take their toll when a spouse spends more time and energy in their jobs than they spend with their families and spouses. The breaking up in a family and divorce itself affects more than the couple especially when children are involved. As well as affecting family and friends associated with the couple who are about to call it quits. Although many may say it's impossible, many couples have overcome infidelity in their relationships and moved on.

Growing up in a divorced family is very difficult on the children. It can result in deterioration of family bonds in children to parents or even sibling to sibling.

It is everyones individual choice to end a relationship but for those who are just having it rough, hang in there. Commitment, Communication and trust in each other you can have a chance to overcome the rough patches on the road of your relationship. The happier you make each other as a couple, the more you teach your children how to love and be a family.
