As a keen television watcher, and a critic of all things in television land, I found myself somewhat unsatisfied with both the premise, and the presentation of this TV show.

The premise appears to be : couples holiday on a resort like paradisical island and are torn apart by being separated and tempted by scantily clad men/women who seem to have no moral gumption whatsoever.

Oh yes, there are the usual cash rewards for having the loosest morals and causing the greatest heartache. however the format is thin on structure and as a parent I find the whole premise disgusting and socially unrewarding. I cannot fathom what this show is doing to the young people who watch it, the value of human relationships is devalued as peoples feelings for one another are put to the test and put on display for all to see, whilst being tempted to do the wrong thing, backstab and hurt others to ultimately 'win'... hmmm certainly not what I would recommend to my children or anyone I had any respect for.
