TRUE TO OURSELVES
Life is purpose. There's a world full of contemplation, and even more lives worth every minute spent in remembering them.
This physical phenomenon is a part of life as we mull over every angle. It is time to seize the moment of our thoughts, as sometimes it is a fact that tomorrow never comes. Second chances don't always knock on a door twice, and decisiveness requires real purpose in life to live as if it's the only chance we have.
It takes courage to face the facts when we only think we can't take first step; but it takes even more, to continue, the tougher it becomes. Coming to a decision, is putting that consideration into action. The world would stop if there was nothing to do, but finding purpose does give reason to being who and what we are.
Believing in ourselves is where we begin our purpose, then contemplating is just putting the jig-saw together. It is our life, and there has to be a purpose in the picture we are reflecting on. Heaven knows the best remembered are those who had to go through the fire of life, for a purpose. They left a legacy for us worth following back into the light of day, when anything seemed too dark to even think about.
One only has to look around to see purpose is everywhere; as there is always a need, or somebody for every conceivable job. Sometimes one thinks that purpose has to be of great worth. Well, be it ever so humble, it is! Even a baker has a goal, as those with silver platters need his bread. The mechanic has purpose as those with any form of vehicle would be lost without his/her help..
A grander achievement of bigger is better, does not mean a larger headache is the destination. Yet like the baker, not every-one is cut out to bake the bread, any more than if it is to be a doctor or a lawyer to be what they are. All required contemplation before they set out to become what they achieved. Needing each other is the greatest purpose in life.
Some find it so hard to see any purpose; if a life might have been cut too short with a loved one. What is there for them to contemplate, when grief only leaves a black hole? These need quality time to return from this time-warp where there is no gravity to resolve; nor any life line of hope to cling to. Overcoming, can even be a purpose, born in helping some-one else out of their helplessness.
On seeing a cartoon of a girl-child of about 7 years old, holding her mother's hand as they both stood looking hard at a large statue, the mum explained it was called, 'The Thinker'. In Paris. the artist, Auguste Rodin, took 16 years -1888-1904 - before publicly displaying his memorable of this.
'Oh,' the child exclaimed; 'in all the time he has been sitting there thinking about it, I could have done it!'
Some - like this girl-child - have it already accomplished. Their contemplation done. A known Reason at such a young age had to be their destiny - a dream accomplished - well and truly mapped out. Conceivable enough to simply know, with always the next step to be taken. Many children like this do exist.
Sometimes life is overlooked by too much procrastination. One's purpose is worth contemplating; but not losing time when, like the young girl, felt she could have already been there and back, before she too had turned to stone.
Even if it takes time it is better to be sure than sorry when making functional decisions. It might just be a huge surprise, changing the whole meaning to the total purpose we dared to dream. Or just the end, of one step, and another new beginning to something called better.
Being true to ourselves can only be through determination in life, and in return it becomes the making of our contemplations, the most purposeful of all.
