Reasons why Crocs are popular

Whenever I wear my Crocs in China, I get even more stares than usual. I hadn't actually packed any Crocs when I moved to the other side of the International Date Line because I was determined to use up as little space as possible in the two bags that I was allowed to bring for a one year stay. However, after sandal weather passed, I missed the ease and comfort of the Crocs I had left behind and had to request that my in-laws mail me a pair. Being a bit excessive, my mother-in-law sent me two pairs, one in pink and one in orange. I put them on the same day that they arrived in the mail.

If you are the type of person who slides your shoes off without untying them, Crocs are for you. They make leaving the house much faster and more simple. You do not have to tie, rearrange, or fasten anything on Crocs. You can just slide them on and go. This is a feature that any busy or rushed individual can appreciate. Also, unlike your average slip on, the rubber bumps inside the Crocs cause the shoes to cling gently to your socks and not slide around on your feet.

I am the type of person who likes to stand out in a crowd, so all of the Crocs I own are in all bright colors. I am aware that many people are not like this and may want to blend in when they go out. Crocs wisely has created a line of footwear versatile enough that the most picky person can find a pair they like. As a female, I appreciate the alternatives to Mary Janes that the Crocs company has created. Because of the cushioned interior, I will be buying these to replace my current worn down, flimsy flats when I return to America.

I argue that Crocs are the perfect shoes to wear when flying. Ever since I purchased my first pair of Crocs, these are the only shoes that I will wear when I fly domestically. They come off easily when you go through security, enabling you to forgo the embarrassment of struggling with a pair of tennis shoes as the line behind you gets longer and more aggressive. They are roomy enough that they will not become tight and uncomfortable if your feet begin to swell. The lightweight and sponge-like quality, coupled with the amazing amount of traction that you can get from a rubbery shoe, make these ideal for running through the airport to catch a flight.

Crocs are for everyone. They have a fun quality that children love, a practical side for mothers and workers, and are comfortable enough for even the most adventurous traveller. As I continue to trek through the world, I will make sure that I will never leave my Crocs behind again.
