Are you looking to lose weight but don't know where to begin? I commend you for simply desiring to shed the unhealthy pounds. It is your determination however, which will set the wheels in motion to achieve the weight loss goal that you have always dreamed of.
Here, I have included 20 ways to easily incorporate slimming down into your regular everyday routine. These suggestions are healthy, easier than attempting to diet, and they are practically painless. Do not give up and do not expect to go down ten sizes overnight. Give it time, as you follow these recommendations, you will see results! I wish you much success in achieving your "dream" weight goal.
1. Eat four to six small meals instead of three large ones: To help speed up metabolism, eliminate feeling "full" and cut down on snacking.
2. Eat when you are not hungry: Waiting until you are hungry to eat may cause you to rush into your kitchen and reach for anything, at hand. Eat at selected intervals and plan out your healthy meal choices to minimize indulgence in snack foods.
3. Wear a girdle: While you exercise or even to bed. It's not just for Grandma anymore. Wearing a girdle will help your body conform to the restrictions and limitations of the undergarment; causing it to adhere and decrease in size over a period of time.
4. Take the stairs and walk as much as possible: Vigorous walking with your hands moving at your side and taking the stairs whenever possible burns a decent amount of calories at the end of the week. Even at the mall, or at your job, you generally have the option of parking further away and walking and/or taking the stairs. Not only will this burn calories for you but it is also excellent for your heart and health overall.
5. Avoid soda and sugary juices like the black plague: These drinks have absolutely no nutritional value and they pack on unnecessary calories. Bear in mind that teas, fruit juices, smoothies, and fortified waters are all loaded with tons of calories. My suggestion; drink water at all times. I cut all drinks out of my diet one year ago for health reasons. At first, I thought it was one of the hardest things I ever had to do. Now I don't even miss it, I drink water all the time and cannot imagine going back to drinking soda.
6. Drink a large glass of water before your meal: This will make you feel full, causing you to eat less and skip that second helping.
7. Exercise: 30 minutes a day. Come on, no more excuses. Try weight bearing exercises at least 2 times a week to burn
