Secrets of getting organized

Being organized can be an asset. In the home or the office organization will increase the likelihood items are located easily, and less time is wasted. Everything should have its own place where it is kept for future use.

Lets start in the kitchen. The silverware should be together in a drawer. A container with separate sections should be used. keeping each utensil with their grouping. A separate drawer should house mixing utensils, ladle, bottle openers, nut crackers etc. Glasses should be in a cabinet, lined up small ones together following medium and larger ones. They should be also placed with their sets. Coffee cups with saucers ,and mugs in one cabinet. Dishes should have their own cabinet space also with their sets. When setting the table having all the same designed plates will enhance the beauty of the table.

Pots and pans should be in a bottom cabinet neatly. The small ones in the larger ones for easy access. The counter top should not be cluttered to utilize the area for preparing food. Placing the small appliances towards the back will provide more room. These items can be brought forward when needed. This set up allows for easier preparing and cooking of meals.

The bathroom should also keep things that are needed daily accessible. Depending on the available space items of more use should be kept in the cabinet or medicine chest. Brushes combs toothpaste, soap etc. can be put on or by the sink. Refill items can be housed in the bathroom cabinet if there is room to spare. This will make locating toilet tissue easier when the roll is finished. Extra towels should also be in the bathroom ,in a bottom cabinet or shelf. Extra bathroom items should be stored in a bathroom closet or cabinet for availability of the items. Again utilizing space efficiently gives more flexibility.

The bedroom drawers should have each category of clothes set apart neatly in their own drawer. The neatness of the drawer will also help locate each specific item. The closet should keep specific clothes together such as: casual pants, dress pants, shirts, dresses or suits. Shoes do not serve a purpose unless they are both together as a pair. The bottom of the closet or a shoe rack usually can house many shoes. The shoes do not need to be scatered around on the floor. This will create a situation of always looking for one shoe.

The garage can also be an organized place for tools, paints, and home improvement supplies. Lets not forget the car which is the reason we have a garage
