When a child is conceived from rape decided rather to keep the child is a very personal choice that is also a very hard choice to make. As with any other pregnancy a women who becomes pregnant from a rape has three choices she can raise the baby, give the baby up for adoption, or have an abortion. Making this decision will be one of the hardest most difficult decisions of any woman's life.

Many women chose to abort the child. I do not think this is fair to the unborn child. I do not believe in abortion of healthy unborn babies. Although it may be hard to carry a baby for nine months after you have been raped it is a very selfless act that can be very rewarding in the end. Rather you chose to raise the baby yourself or give the baby up for adoption by not aborting the baby and carrying it to term you will have given that child the most precious gift the gift of life.

Women that chose to raise their child that is product of rape are very strong individuals. It is important if the woman chooses to raise the child that she remembers the child is also a victim. The child is an innocent victim they did not ask to be creating or for their father to rape them.

A woman needs will need to decide for herself rather she thinks she can live with see the product of her rape every day. They will be reminded of what happened when they were raped every time they look at their child. A lot of women cannot face this and that is perfectly ok.

If the woman is able to live with seeing the product of her rape every day there is always the option of adoption. Adoption and become a wonderful gift out of something horrible. By giving a child produced by rape up for adoption may be hard it can also make you feel wonderful to give the gift of a tiny baby to a childless couple. Giving your baby up for adoption can often times help a woman heal from her rape.

A woman should only keep a child that is the product of rape if she has weighed all her options and has decided that is what is best for her and her unique situation. Each case of rape is different as each woman is also different. Women should not feel pressure to keep their child in any situation. Any pregnant woman should be free and able to decide what is best for her at the time no matter how the child was produced. A child can be a wonderful gift at the right time it is important to decide if it is the right time for you or if the child would be better in a loving home that is waiting for a baby.
