How do I get my Helium articles rated to the top?

Helium articles that are rated to the top are, simply put, usually the best of the best. But, many Helium writers do not know the specific guidelines that will help them reach the top. If you are a Helium writer, or any writer actually, who wants to make your articles better, then the following tips will help you get where you want to be.

First, always think about writing a high quality article. High quality articles will do a number of things. First, it will answer whatever the title needs to address. If the title is a question, it will answer that question. If the title is a statement, it will support that statement. Moreover, a high quality article will provide useful information that can either be in the form of opinion or in facts.

High quality articles do not need to read like they have been written by a genius. In fact, writing is all about making sure that you are practicing correctly. If you use Helium correctly, you will learn how to write better. Make sure that you are participating as a member of the community. In other words, if you need help in improving your writing skills, then you can either go to the community forums or seek a mentor. At any rate, seeking help is one of the best ways you can improve your writing and, ultimately, your articles.

Then, learn how people rate. There are many articles written on how various people rate, and those articles will generally speak for the majority. Follow the guidelines in those articles and see how your articles fare. Most importantly, you should learn how to judge your articles yourself. Judge as if you were going to publish the article professionally. Would you publish your own work?

People rate an article according to its fulfillment of certain requirements. If it answers the question or addresses the title, then it is already a positive rating. If it has good grammar, punctuation, and spelling, then it will also get rated higher. And, if it has good readability and its content is stellar, it will also get a higher rating. And sometimes, style counts too. If the rater likes your writing style, your article will get rated higher.

As you write your Helium articles, keep a few things in mind: always assume the position of an authority to determine the quality of your article, and write as if you were writing for a professional publication. Moreover, fulfill the basic requirements of any writing assignment. If your articles do not fulfill those basic requirements, then you should not expect your articles to get rated to the top.
