Pharmaceutical Company Bailout Plan

Where do all my hard earned dollars go? Don't we all wonder that? We hear stories of people getting everything they want for nothing at all. Do you believe this?

The banks made bad investments, bought all kinds of extras, paid for perks and lavish lifestyles for people unable, really, to work anywhere else (one of the things my employer looks at as evidence they can pay me less than I make now). They continued this practice even in the face of evidence that this would be coming to a screeching if not disastrous halt. Seeing it all about to come crashing down, these people who could have no better job or any other job for that matter doing anything else anywhere, fed themselves enough contracts and perquisites to make sure they could get through the lean years without having to forego the Pouilly-Fuisse.

The banks are easy to point to. Easy to show as the bad guy. Not only for doing the things that brought about the collapse even as they knew it was coming but also for asking for a bailout. And getting it too!

Ahh, but who knows about the pharmaceutical company bailout plan?

Anyone? Anyone?

Aha! There's someone. You in the front row!

We have the famed pharmaceutical company bailout plan! Not to be confused with the automaker bailout plan or the banking bailout plan that is just throwing money out at people who have stolen the rest of it. NO! The pharmaceutical bailout plan is much more substantive and inclusive. It involves a false economy and trade.

Here's how it works:

Doctors prescribe medications to treat diseases they know are untreatable. They prescribe based on symptoms and prescribe whether or not they can justify this based on reduction of symptoms and efficacy. They are told which medications to prescribe by the pharmaceutical companies who give them all kinds of free samples, pens and cool stuff. They continue the medications beyond recommended guidelines, outside of recommended useage and even continue them indefinitely.

In fact, many of these medications are more addictive than cigarettes and come at just as deadly a price. Many of these people have addictive personalities to begin with, then they are given a legitmizing scenario for their habituation infatuation.

As an addict, you look for the doctors who want more money than a simple practice can maintain. Who are busy and can't spend the time or bother with someone insistent or demanding or constantly calling or visiting. Who are GOBs (Good Ol' Boys), who are working
