Your home is one of the most secure places that your family can retreat to, in order to get away from the hussle and bussle of everyday life and challenges. Your house is the location for every birthday party and holiday, yet somehow it still leaves the whole family a bed to turn into each night. Having a clean and organized home for every day life and every occasion, leaves one less worry for moms to have to deal with in life. The following are some tips that may help organize every family's home life.
Place a dry erase board in every room. Whether or not it is in the office or the bathroom, a written note to remind your husband to turn off all of the lights or to remind your children to do all their chores will help keep things in order. This will also help prevent the famous lines "I forgot" or "I did not know I was supposed to".
Clean at least one room a day. This may be a never ending job, but it helps to keep all rooms in a cleaner condition for the next week's cleaning. Every room should have its own day and time to be cleaned.
Have a family routine. Make a family movie or game night. A house is not a home without love and laughter. Having a family game or movie night gives everyone a chance to tell about their entire week, and to play catch up on Jody's new boyfriend.
Make lists for everything. Making a list leaves no room for forgetting things. Families can use tape recorders or good old paper to make grocery lists, cleaning lists, and yes spouses: honey to do lists.
Have a family schedule that accommodates every person in the family. For most mother, it is hard to keep track of everyone in the family, and what time Susie gets out of practice. If every person fills out a schedule, it will get everyone in the mood to keep each other on track. This tip is especially important when dealing with school projects, because it gives parents a chance to teach their children not to procrastinate.
For most families, organization can help keep the love in the air and the messes out of the kitchen. There are many other ways to keep a successful and clean household. Pictures for put away helps younger children by placing a photo on the shelp or drawer of where the items are to be put away. In conjunction to dry erase boards, placing sticky notes throughout the home gives a sense of singling out individuals to drive family members to do their chores or school work. Taking these few steps one day at a time will have a dramatic effect on the entire families aspect on their home.
