The best place for Aloha attire in Honolulu, HI

My best aloha attire priced from $80.00-$200.00 by my favorite, Mamo Howell's, dresses or jackets are available at three Honolulu locations: Queen St. Downtown Honolulu if you visit Iolani Palace its best to stay parked near the Library and walk into downtown as parking is crowded and not free; or Ward Center where parking is ample across from Harbor excursions between Waikiki and downtown Honolulu. Ward Center is not as crowded as the famous Ala Moana shopping Center. Mamo Howell features lei designs draping her clothing and unusual shapes including puffed sleeves and pleated empire waists Mamo has a new store near Diamond Head.

Two other sources of best aloha attire are the craft fairs where you will find some awesome seamstresses on a lucky day. This url will link you to the up and coming events in Honolulu http://www.icb-web.net/icb/shoppers.htm

I found a best hula style vendor, YoYo's label, at a Bishop Museum event. It is not hard to coordinate craft fair shopping and park waking with site seeing. Hawaii visitors are more likely to interact with local residents gaining more best aloha fashion insight.

Best places for aloha attire also means find your favorite flower and surf cloth in fabrics shops. Best places are Kaimuki Fabric Store (order online) or by car from Waikiki's Kapiolani Blvd. and the Zoo to Waialai Ave.; or Kuni Island Fabrics in Moilili near the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

. Ala Moana shopping center located on Ala Moana Blvd. ocean side of Honolulu not far from Waikiki or Downtown includes the best of Hilo Hattie's $60.00 aloha dresses and $40.00 for aloha shirts (look for discount coupons in tourist magazines). Ala Moana retailers include Sears, Macy's and J.C. Penney's. These aloha retailers carry Tori Richards, a best aloha label in both men and women's clothing. Ample parking, but it is worth your foot health and time to map out where you will go at Ala Moana Center before parking anywhere. Buses to and from Waikiki are crowded but frequent instead of standing with packages, wait for the next bus.
