1 Oroweat Double Fiber English Muffin
2 Tablespoons (25 g) Lucerne
Low-Moisture Part-Skim Mozzarella Cheese
1/8 Cup (75 g) Muir Glenn Tomato Basil Pasta Sauce
1 Spinach Leaf
1 Medium White Mushroom
1 Green Olive
1 Slice Canadian Bacon
2 Slices Hormel Turkey
Pepperoni
Method:
Step 1: Preheat oven to 400 F. Begin by separating the English muffin. The muffin is pre-sliced, but you may need to use a knife to ensure an even cut.
Step 2: Add cheese. Sprinkle most of the cheese evenly over each muffin slice. Reserve some of the cheese for a final pizza topper.
Step 3: Spoon on sauce. Place a heaping spoonful onto each muffin and spread evenly over the top.
Step 4: Prepare and add vegetables. Slice spinach leaf, mushrooms, and olive into tiny pieces. Sprinkle over the top of one pizza.
Step 5: Prepare and add meat. Slice the Canadian bacon and turkey pepperoni into small pieces and place on top of the other pizza.
Step 6: Place pizzas on your favorite pizza pan and bake for 10-15 minutes. Don't forget to use the remaining cheese as a topper before putting the pizzas in the oven.
Step 7: You now have your own meat pizza and vegetable pizza. Serve with your favorite vegetables for a complete meal that is healthy and delicious.
Tips:
Toast the muffin before making pizza to enhance crunch factor. The baking provides some crunch, but pre-toasting really gives the recipe a pizza feel.
Adding the cheese as the first ingredient helps ensure an even melting. It also makes the pizza less messy for eating.
Kids enjoy personalizing their pizza and this recipe is a perfect for family bonding and healthy living. Experiment with the fresh ingredients to get the perfect pizza for each person in your family.
