The United States of America is ready for a viable alternative to the two evils called the Republicans and Democrats. For those who say that a vote for an alternative party is a wasted vote, why do the Republicans and Democrats do everything to exclude the alternative parties? For those who love to talk about the "lesser of two evils", the lesser of two evils is still evil.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /

I. Hypocrisy

The primary reason why the United States of America may be ready for a viable alternative party such as the Libertarian Party is the hypocrisy of the governing elite. The Republicans and Democrats are the "American" version of the Pharisees of the time of Jesus Christ.

The Republicans and Democrats love to lecture the world about peace, freedom, and human rights while violating the same rights in America. During the more than one century and a half of Republican and Democratic rule, both parties used scapegoats to remain in power. We have to remember the genocide committed against the Native Americans and African Americans during that time period.

Who cannot forget the crimes against humanity committed against the Germans in America during World War I, the Japanese Americans during World War II? What about the crimes against humanity on the Latin and Islamic Populations in the latter half of the 20th Century and early 21st Century? What about the attempts to sabotage any chances of a Libertarian or Green to appear on a ballot? This is the America of the Republicans and Democrats that talk about freedom and human rights but does not practice it.

The Republicans and Democrats love to say that the United States of America has had peace during its reign and that the wars were justified. What about wars that had nothing to do with National Security such as Korea, Vietnam, the Middle East, and other areas of the world? What about the fact that President Franklin Roosevelt may have provoked the Japanese into attacking Pearl Harbor in order to remove the Great Depression from the United States of America?

The Republicans and Democrats through their hypocrisy have proved that the US is ready for a viable alternative party.

II. Public Awareness

The Republicans and Democrats have loved to portray their so called differences. There have been both who have told me even those who are naturalized Americans that those born in America have not looked "deep enough" in order to gauge the difference.
