Dreams, something that almost everyone has on a nightly basis. These dreams cause people to change the way that they act sometimes. When they dream, they see things that they think will happen to them and end up changing the way that they will act or react toward anything that happened in these images. People will take these dreams and try to make symbolic things out of them. There are websites out there for people to try and interpret these images. Some people think that these dreams are a message from god and that they are to be taken seriously and to be figured out like a puzzle. These dreams are nothing serious and nothing more than your mind just running scenarios that you are afraid of, or images of what you want to be in. It is a collage of things that have happened recently that your mind didn't like or understand.
Dreams are really nothing to be taken seriously. They are just dreams. If you have a child then you will see them go through the nightmare phase. Now, when your kid goes through the nightmare phase, do you think it is because they have done something bad? Is it because they will do bad things? Well, not every kid grows up to do bad things with their life. Some kids grow up to be people who change the world for the better and it wasn't because they had nightmares as a kid. Kids have very vivid dreams and most adults don't. This is because children have a very wild imagination and many adults don't. That is all there is to your dreams, they are just your imagination running wild and taking what happens to you and what you think will happen and making scenarios out of them. This shows that dreams are influenced by the individual and not by some higher power.
This subject should actually read, "Do our dreams have meaning?" rather than "Are they a message from some higher power?" The answer to this is really no. Plain and simple. Even though people will always waste their time trying to figure out what their dreams are for and what they mean the fact of the matter is that the dreams are nothing but your imagination. When you go to try something or when you want something, you think about it, and you think about what will happen and you play out the scenarios in your mind. Dreams are just the same as that but with images. Dreams are really just slide shows or movies of thoughts in your head and are effected by the individual and not some higher being. Dreams also can't be from god because of the fact that people who do not believe in god have them as well. There are other religions that do not worship god, but they dream. Is god sending them messages too? If so, then why are they not having bad dreams or dreams about learning about god or praising him? Think about that.
