Poetry: A word of advice

by Gerald Drueppel

Created on: April 30, 2009   Last Updated: February 03, 2012

Listening Lesson

Under certain circumstance
alert, advanced scouts about
the outer fringe, impinge
upon everything wrong
with consensus reality
defend us, duality
fence us, mentality hence, trust
but no camaraderie, then since
everyone agrees, appeasement
is meant for the more devious clique
no substance, all trick
small, slick, high profile
why so vile? try no smile
on twice, could be good advice
