My review covers Season 2 through Week 9.

The Donald made an admission this season that surprised me and the person about whom his admission was made! Mr. Trump admitted that he had tried unsuccessfully to date Playboy Bunny Brande Roderick before The Donald had any celebrity of his own. Brande, amazingly admitted that she never even noticed or remembered anything about their brief encounter. Actually, this season my personal choice for the only sane person among the candidates is Brande Roderick. Brande recently started a web site called Financially Hung, at http://www.financiallyhung.com / where I was lucky enough to be among the first members and received a personal welcome from Brande herself!

The first few shows this season were so bizarre and ridiculous that I thought it was impossible for these later scenarios to be any worse. Now, I am seriously in doubt about whether there will be an Apprentice chosen at all this season. I think Piers showed up just in time to prevent Joan, Melissa, and Annie from killing each other. He actually said that their personal attacks made his horrific encounters with Amarosa seem tame. The terrible bond between Melissa and Joan is heart-rending. Melissa's father killed himself, and his last words to Melissa were that she must now be the caretaker of Joan. What a terrifying heritage it must be to have one's parent end their life. Add celebrity to that!

I really love Brande's sense of humor and her ability to let personal attacks strengthen her. My respect for Annie, Joan, and Melissa is still intact. However, I regard Brande as a peacemaker. The other contestants will probably survive. Brande has proven herself to be in control of her emotional wellness. Hardly anything speaks to me more than that skill when I think of admirable traits among humans. There seems to be a more peaceful future for the remainder of this season. Since Joan and Melissa have left the arena, the fight seems to be at least postponed for a while. I really love all three of these combatants. My instructor and manager for my screenplay was a writer for Joan and Melissa.

I never saw Annie much before this show, however, I really admire her ability and desire to raise cash for charity. It is sad that the process of caring for others by raising money has been replaced by character assassinations. My opinion is that the stress and fatigue that these contestants encounter simply takes too much away from their ability to cope. Perhaps they need a psychological crisis intervention team to actually involve the candidates in some exercises that might help them get along. Rodney King where are you. Rodney was on Dr. Drew's Celebrity Rehab recently. I really believe his intervention against Joan's alcohol consumption could have saved her from smashing that wine glass.

I am not sure if anyone can save this season from losing all the candidates before an Apprentice emerges.
