Great Scott (sdale)!
If you are looking to relocate, you could do well to consider Scottsdale, Arizona, a beautiful city of 202,705 citizens (2000 census), located conveniently in nearly-cactus-length-distance from Tempe, Reno, and Las Vegas.
In an era where the economy not only has seen better days but also has seen few worse days, one would wonder immediately just how lucrative a move to this area would be and not only for now but also in the years to come. Economically, this area is one of the few places right now that can claim not only to be doing well but also can claim to see even-better days ahead. As mentioned, it has proximity to Las Vegas and therefore serves as an economic speed bump to tourists en route to casinos and slot machines, a large reason why the city has a huge total of hotels and a yearly-reliable source of revenue/jobs creations from these tourists. Therefore, any purchase now-in a buyer's market-is only likely to increase in intrinsic worth as the economy skyrockets. Therefore, even if you are not interested in living here, this article applies not only to those on the move but to those who always have considered getting involved in Real Estate.
To enhance this point that much more, this area climbs in general population over time, meaning that competition amongst buyers is only likely to grow, just another point to consider to you, the astute invester looking for a great deal. Also, an area that draws a Super Bowl about three times every twenty years and which draws the aforementioned large influx of white-collar tourists on a multi-billion-dollar-annually scale (2000 census), buying in Scottsdale is hardly a major economic risk, partially because, obviously, an area that attracts those with a lot of money is more likely to thrive than an area that does not, as evidenced by its median household income being $57,484 (2000 census) and its jumping to $70,533 in a 2007 estimate.
The climate of Scottsdale is very hot, and if you prefer snow and blizzards, this area is not the place for you, clearly, but the climate does offer the benefit of clean air from the heat's killing bacteria, so this area provides a nice getaway to those used to waking up, driving to work, and smelling smog and eating bagels.
Take a look at some of the fine homes in this area, and while, like most cities, it offers the expected types of architecture, it also offers unique designs, such as ranch-style homes with a combination of a middle-of-the-desert feel and near-to-the-ocean style. Indeed, not much time is required to see why this area has drawn many comparisons to South Beach, where stylishly-cut cactuses give a palm-trees feel and where architects pay meticulous attention to detail in their work on driveways, backyards, etc.. If you cannot afford such a seven-figure estate on E. Gainey Ranch Rd., you may want to consider some of the six-figure investments on North Gainey Center Dr., which feature condos, townhouses, and other examples of beautifully-designed masterpieces, basking luxuriously in the perennially-hot rays of the Arizona sun, exceeding expectations left and right.
What are you waiting for? This area has much to offer, and the market is ideal for you, the buyer. Do not withhold any questions, and allow us to help you in any way we can.
