In April of 2009, news media reported that hundreds of residents in Mexico were infected with swine flu. This type of disease has spread into many other countries, including the United States and New Zealand. Not long after the report, there was already one swine flu-related death confirmation involving a Texas toddler.
Many people throughout the world are taking necessary precautions toward staying away from swine flu. Right now, it is unknown when this particular event is going to end permenantly or if there are any cures for the infection. But finding ways to avoid swine flu is in order to keep yourself healthy, as well as being in good health.
*Be Cautious When Traveling
Be careful when traveling, especially to Mexico. The swine flu case has been so severe there, some schools in the country have been closed at some point. If it is allowed for your air travel, you can bring a small hand sanitizer to kill germs on your hands.. Before going to Mexico, purchase a small surgical mask to cover your mouth and nose whenever necessary. Buy plastic gloves for use when you need to. The swine flu diseases is still widespread in Mexico, and it is highly possible you can get infected if you don't protect yourself
*Wash Your Hands
Always wash your hands. And do so frequently with plenty of warm water and soap. Clean your hands after every meal and in between meals. Use a hand sanitizer to thoroughly scrub your hand if needed. Keeping your hands clean constantly can prevent any germs forming on them.

Increasing vitamins in your body by eating enough fruits and vegetables on a daily basis helps you fight off getting a swine flu and keeps you feeling well.
Eat more fiber-rich foods such as whole-wheat breads and pasta. Don't eat too much (or any) sweets and prohibit drinking a lot of beverages with caffeine in them. Since it is important to drink a lot of water everyday, do that instead. At least eight glasses of water a day will be enough for your body to function properly and fight off any swine flu diseases.
