Should prostitution be legal? Yes, if its legalized it can be regulated and if its regulated then we could make it safe for the prostitutes and there clients.

I sit here and read articles from people that think it shouldn't be legalized but they don't understand is that most of the reasons that they are giving of why it shouldn't be legalized wouldn't exists if they legalized and then regulated. The government can reach out to other countries that have already legalized prostitution and get ideas on ways to regulate and benefit from it.

Prostitution is a quick and and easy way to make a few bucks. Most prostitutes are just smart intelligent people that have found a way to make ends meet in a fast way that is convenient to them. Most of the clients just are looking for either satisfaction they aren't getting at home or more of a variety then a conventional sexual lifestyle provides. It should be no more illegal then a swinger lifestyle, since just as many STD"s and drugs are passed around.

They could regulate monthly drug and STD testing. Right now a lot of the violence that has to do with prostitution is drug related but if they have to be drug free and get tested regularly a lot of the drug problems will go away as well. We could eliminate a lot of the violence that goes on. We could take the business away from organized crime & small time pimps and put in the hands of corporations. Set of brothels for prostitutes to work in with security for the workers and clientele so that everyone can feel safe.

Lets get prostitution off the street and away from our children. Money would be taxed and put back into our economy. Millions of untaxed dollars are made yearly money that could help our economy in our time of need. Whether is legal or not people are still going to find away to do so. It continues to be a growing epidemic in the world especially in the US today. They need to stop looking for ways to crack down and legalize it so that the government can regulate it and benefit it. Just think the average prostitute makes about 50k a year tax free. If legalize it and tax it it could significantly affect out economy in a positive way.

Regardless of your personal opinion on whether prostitution is right or wrong, it have to at least see how it could fix a lot of our problems if it was legalized. it would boost our economy and help eliminate drugs and the spread of Sexually transmitted diseases, it just has to be done right. It needs to regulated and the government needs to step up and lay down the law as to what is acceptable. Prostitution be a fine tuned business that everyone could benefit from.

Prostitution should be decriminalized. We can't effectively "legalize" it any more than we can legalize love or pain or masturbation.
