AN OPEN MIND
The mind, the belief, the question, the answer
A thinker on life's path or who are we, what are we, what's next?
If you are a reader of books on metaphysics, on life, on soul travel, on angels, you've just hit the proverbial jackpot. Information for the soul, the feeding of the hunger within, the reaching out to "know", is being addressed.
We are being informed, instructed, warned, by those who claim first hand knowledge. We are regressed, we are channeled, we have the entire spirit world knocking on our doors. We are being told what we are doing that's wrong; we are being told what we should be doing. We are told what the consequences will be. So why is all this input being ignored? Why is not the message being heeded?
But is it being ignored, can this message actually be getting through? The popularity of the books, the "take it to heart" readers, listeners, expounders on this phenomenon, means we are listening, we are hearing and in small ways we are reacting.
What we read makes us pause, makes us wonder. Is there something more and why have we not been told about it? We are no learning that when we leave here, there is a There" and that wed o come back. We are being told in book after book that life is like a circle. There isn't any beginning, there isn't any end. We go around and around and around forever. That it's our eternal life in action.
And the white light at the end of the tunnel is like a birth back into the world of beyond. We join all the other points of light, while our efforts on earth are catalogued. Didn't do it right while you were on this sphere? Back you come, over and over, until you get it right. You keep coming back until the lesson sinks in. You learn, maybe a small piece, maybe a large chuck, but you learn.
What is the lesson? Why do we have to come back? Is it to learn love? Is it to learn tolerance? Is it to atone for a particular deed? Is it to learn that we are "chips from the same Block" and part of each other as well as part of the Whole?
What is the lesson? Is it to learn that ones religion by itself and of itself doe not open the Pearly Gates? That be you Christian, Buddhist, Jewish, Muslim, etc., that all religions are the same. To fight about the different approaches, different prayers, is a futile effort and demonstrates that you really do not get it" after all. It will only guarantee your return for another cycle, another time around, another chance t learn that we are one and we must believe in the
