Friendlier cats: Male or Female

In my life I have heard that the friendlier cat is male. On the other hand I have also heard that female is the friendlier cat, I need your opinion!

In my opinion male is the friendlier cat. They are loveable and sweet. Mostly I think that males are friendlier because they are very cuddly and very snuggly. My friends cats are all males and one female and the males are way friendlier. But then again it depends on how involved with humans they are. A lot of people deprive their cats from human contact and they turn really vicious. But then there are some people who make their cats too friendly. It has been proven that males are friendlier that females.

The males that my friends have had were very nice and snuggly! I love the fact that they will nap with you and just let you love on them. They are also very nurturing too. The male cats are also very funny especially when you give them cat nip! I would suggest that if you get a male cat for you to get a companion to go with him. They do not like to be by themselves. They are big babies, I wish that my cats were like the male cats that my friends have but they are not!

Females like to run the show and males like to go with the flow. But then again the females are friendly. My female cats, well, one of them is very friendly and the other one is kind of stand offish. She doesn't like anybody but my mom. I wish my female cats would snuggle with me more, but they are not the cuddle type, they are more of the independent type like most female cats. Take calico cats for instance. They are almost all female and they all have an attitude problem. They are not the snuggly type and they are the very independent type. They know what they want and they run with it! I would suggest that if you are going to get a calico get only one because they are very self-centered and don't play well with others!

If you were to get a cat I would prefer a male cat. They are the cuddlier type, but then again if you don't have a lot of time then I would suggest you get a female. Neutered cats are very friendly and sweet too. They are friendlier than cats that aren't fixed. So if you plan on getting a cat I would suggest you go to a shelter and get a cat or a kitten from there. Over all I think that the majority of cats are friendly and nice. So if you are going to get a cat just remember that they need lots of love and a companion and good luck with your cat!
