Mom and Dad
Who's there for us each and every day?
Caring for us in their own special way
Even though we've grown up and moved away
They're always there to say everything's ok.
Who remembers every significant day?
Never forgetting an anniversary or birthday
Who in sickness or health always comes through?
For each and every one of us, it's true.
Who asks for nothing in return but love?
And blessings for us all from God above
Who's sometimes forgotten, except when in need?
Or taken for granted, many times indeed.
These wonderful people are our parents so dear
Who sacrificed so much just to show they care
So I think we all should, before it's too late
Say we love and thank you Mom and Dad, you're great.
