Attempting to define reality

Reality is an infinity of descriptions, an encyclopedia of prose and poems, a hot day in Tampa, a cold winter in Montana, the oppressive Mongol horde invading like a spring plague of flies with the ulu-Mongol rule of law-on the horse backs in the distance along with the swords of the host.. Reality is the physical laws of the Universe and the fish hooks that gathered rust from just two uses in salt water. Reality is a particle accelerator at CERN and French pastries and dreams of serving women. Reality is healthy cleavage and the Maginot line breached by the Von Schlieffen plan. Realty is solipsism and thought about Descartes and the storming of the Bastille. Reality is an ongoing temporal phenomenon that may end with a big rip, a big crunch, summary judgment or in accord with the divine plan predestined and prophesied. Reality is the opportunity to buy gasoline from Arabia and automobiles from China while employed by global corporations and to all become unemployed when global corporations over-reach in skimming money from the United States and elsewhere putting their more expensive employees out of work.

Reality precedes descriptions of it; reality is what exists in itself- if it is created by God then that is the sole exception to the fact or opinion that reality is a self-standing fact. Worms see part of reality and if intelligent enough could infer much off the rest perhaps from scientific investigations into the operations of the laws of dirt and worm physiology. Humanity may occupy a similar place in the Universe though we believe that what is seen or inferred from scientific investigation is knowledge at the highest possible level. Space-time concepts may be our 'dirt' in which we perceive that which our sense perceiving and cognitive facilities allow.

Anything I didn't mention is part of reality too in some way, if someone else mentioned it or if it exists for-itself. An inventory of reality would take more storage space than reality has. The whole is greater than the sum of the parts, for the combination of elements of things in reality, like the neuron network of the mind, can contain and produce far more configurations than the number of elements comprising the system-especially with the temporality of thought and reality allowing differing contents and relations of contents in more dimensions and time locations in space.

Definitions of reality have the same problem that definitions of mind have. Rene Descartes sought to make a proof of existence
