There you go again, young whippersnappers! The listing specifies "of all time", not just guys working today, as on all other lists on this page. So, let an old codger name 20 including the seasoned and deceased ones, and not in any rank order:
1. Rudolph Valentino: The superstar of silent romance heros who caused swooning in movie houses and boudoirs.
2. Clark Gable: He was called the King long before Elvis, hitting his peak in "Gone With The Wind."

3. Gary Cooper: The aw shucks hero of "High Noon" and many others..
4. James Dean: Brilliant career cut short by auto accident, but his too few films show what enormous potential he had.
5. Marlon Brando: When young, his animal magnetism overpowered in "On The Waterfront" and "Streetcar Named Desire"
6. Steve McQueen: Went from TV cowboy to superstar, best remembered for "The Great Escape".
7. Johnny Depp: Is knocking out the ladies with his "Pirates of the Caribbean" films.
8. Tom Cruise: Despite his personal life goofiness, his films show great sex appeal, as in "A Few Good Men" and "Samurai".
9. Denzel Washington: Intense, intelligent personality appeals to both men (straight and otherwise) and women.
10. George Clooney: Sort of a latter day version of aw-shucks Gary Cooper, he keeps improving.
11. Kirk Douglas: The classic "Spartacus" hero has had a long career as a lover, on and off screen.
12. Michael Douglas: Spittin' image of his dad, with much of the same manly appeal to the ladies.
13. Jack Nicholson: Scene-chewing and superbly versatile, but always the glowering Nicholson when ladies are around.
14. Richard Gere: Sort of a smooth Cary Grant of current films, as in "Pretty Woman" and "An Officer And A Gentleman".
15. Frank Sinatra: Known as the ultimate Vegas crooner, he also did great love scenes on and off the screen.
16. Gene Kelly: A fantastic dancer who was all guy, as in the classic, "Singin' In The Rain."
17. James Cagney: Almost forgotten today, but was a tough guy in his early movies, not afraid to manhandle women.
18. Sidney Poitier: He broke the color barrier as a great actor and believable lover in "Guess Who's Coming To Dinner."
19. Tony Curtis: He started out as a dese and dose kid, but developed into a great actor, as in "The Boston Strangler."
20. Cary Grant: Moviedom's all-time King Of Smooth" always got the girl and lived happily ever after. if only in films.
