WHEN I AM GONE
Three score years and ten
is the time allocated to men
I am now well into sixty nine
so soon will be living on borrowed time
I have lived a varied and very full life
with my talented sons and a gifted wife
I have no reason to be down or sad
life really has not been that bad
Ther have been its ups and downs
what I have down has raised a few frowns
Mistakes I have made quite a few
but I start again as good as new
Throughout this life I have done my best
so when you lay me down to rest
Remember the good times and be glad
you had only one husband and one dad
