Land of the Twilight
Part one: Journey
Come with me into a land of no wind
A torrential plain that echoes of lost thought
Where placid dreams become burning desires.
Where children play amidst green and blue fires
Come let me show you a haven from sin
For those who have nihilistically their faith forgot
Come with me into twilight where bonhomie remains sealed beneath sordid glass
I'll show you a realm of rapture never spoken of in the mass
I'll take you back to the lands
Where mortal yearnings are born
A land where destiny's shifts rests in your hands
I'll guide you there
A land of betwixt and between where all wayfarers end
A land where fanatics fidn their heaven amidst a never ending storm
Audacious jihads and auguries of destruction be their lullaby for rebirth
In this land you find yourself fantastically reborn
Arisen anew as the picaresque varonis you gave worth
A land of endless shadows
A place where the sun hides
Chase down the daylight to find your way
The crucible awaits
Sand covered flowers then roast into glassy knights
Statues crumble under the granduer of a forgotten child's dream's might
Skies stained in fantasy
Above the sublime plains of eternity
The key to the blissful abyss rests in your hands
I'll guide you there
The boat waits eagerly just past the envious dunes
Chose the sail of your liking to carry you away
We'll set off to the shroes where euphoric ignorance blooms
The land where the setting sun and shadows play
Where the sweet abyss calls lovingly
I'll take you hand in hand away from pain
Let go of it all; cast away the meaning of today
Follow me, follow me, follow me
Let me ease your fears
In my left hand i hold forgetfulness
In my right hand i hold ecstasy
My embrace will cease your agonizing tears
Come with me, come with me, come with me
Walk across the raging ocean and find the land of dignity and mistique
Past the burning lake and dancing phantoms of deceit
Together we'll enter through the shroud you sought...
Welcome to the land of naught
(this poem is a layer upon another layer. beneath the surface meanings of the texts lies a truth. This is part one of a 3 part peom called "The Land of the Twilight". In this first part, the speaker is satan, and he is trying to convince a mortal to follow him to hell. The words he speaks are not outright lies, rather severely twisted interpretations of what hell is. Every line in this poem has an alternate meaning that if you are truly interesting in knowing you can message me for the translations. However, see if you can deduce them for yourself at first and understand the method of twisting)
