Listen all and listen well
For I have a sad, sad tale to tell
of love and darkness, yes it's true
They can co-exist for me and you
You see, I once had a love so real
who showed me the depths of all I could feel
But he left this earth some time ago
and Darkness arose from down below
It tried to replace the love I had known,
and every kindness I'd been shown,
with pain and fear and hurt and hate
Until I could no longer contemplate
living a life which was empty and black
I knew that I was under a relentless attack
Darkness haunted me in my dreams
until my soul erupted in screams
Then the day came when I could fight it no more,
and I escaped to this bleak and distant shore
So here I live in fear of the return
of the darkness that caused love to no longer burn
A faint memory remains of the love I did cherish,
but mostly, how darkness caused it to perish

know you
Underneath it all
you are very small
and if
Her heart is broken
What have you done?
These words, unspoken
All act as one
In her mind you seemed so perfect
In the light you
by Jon Coe
Facing darkness, in love
ticking loudly, my dove
Seconds, fly, away
hours, turn, into day
Blindly tunneling, to dark
heart leads,
