Try and be political
Give meaning to your worth
Open your eyes to stay alive
Cause a reason for your birth.
Take into account that you're the screw
A hammer just won't do
Twist yourself into the small confines
of the earth and into the Big Blue
Listen for the cat-calls from
lonely hearts
Be an ear and a shoulder to lean
Try and be the best you'll never dream
Give meaning to your nasty screams.
Once all is said and done
At the end we'll see who's won
Then bend across to loosen your screw
Maybe, by then,
we'll know exactly what to do.
Try and be political
Give meaning to your worth
Today is a new day
To find a reason for your birth.
