Oceans of Reason
-
Sashaying into me
Creating a storm
Lifting my thoughts
Then throwing it out
Wanton and rhyme less
Leaving me speechless
I bear the burden
The travesty of it all
My mind, my eyes
My travails, my journey
Lively and eternal
Rising and then waning
Feeling, touching often
Gentle and graceful
An ocean in me rises
I seek, I persevere
Not wanting more, ever
Yet keeping still, time
The waves of reason
Every once and then
Calming the tide
Lashing on the rocks
Of gentle reason
I am but
An ocean lilting to it

Poetry: The sea
by Natasha Head
Twilight approaches
Casting dull grey shadows
Upon the dull gray sand.
My toes scrunch,
Basking in the coolness
As

Deep rolling undercurrents filled with barnacles and old timber
Seashells and sand migrating with the pull of moon's limber
by Nathan Thorn
Pulled by a helpful hand,
High above the clouds,
The deep, calm sea moves up the sand,
Not quiet, nor too loud,
A thousand memories
The Water's Burn
Into frothy, rabid clutches sink
flocks of steaming young and old in horror.
Too dark to see in those coal
by Mike Patrick
ALONE AT SEA
Silent rows of angry waves
Slap against the bow.
With just the movement of the stars
To show time is passing now.
