Are we [Americans] collectively dumb as a nation?

by Leroy Fodor

Created on: April 27, 2009

Yes we as Americans are dumb, We are dumb to our surroundings, we are dumb to our own safety and well being, we are dumb to ethics and morals, we are dumb to racism and bigotry, we as a people are by far the dumbest in history.

We had a chance to expand, to break away from your everyday government mumbo jumbo, we had a chance for a real life full of opportunity. We had a chance to make a life with real freedoms that hold more value than the ink they are written in, freedoms without loopholes, with no bearing on the politically correct. Freedoms that could have been an effort for a better way of life. We as Americans fell apart and destroyed what our forefathers fought so hard for.

We as Americans took what was written in stone and washed it away to make room for the politically correct things to do. Ethics and morals are not played in our every day life any longer.

What proof do we have? Very easily put, Lawyers, Divorce rates, Adoption/Abortion rates, Suicides, Murders, Robberys, and all the laws that would take all day to list that our government itself consequentlessly break.

Now that same government which once stood for something good, that being the People now stand for nothing but politricks and filling their own pockets with no mercy for the people they were meant to protect.

I love what America was, I love what we stood for, I love my country, I do not love what politics has made our country today, the very things our forefathers fought against and set rules to protect is the very things our government reverting back to.

We had a chance to start from scratch and become the most powerful nation in the world. And for 200 years we were seen as that, it took only 8 years to destroy the progress that was made for the past 200 years. One man is all it took to destroy our way of life while filling his pockets and his future wallet with an endless amount of green paper that will soon be worth absolutely nothing also in thanks to him and his decisions. we had a chance to stop him at 4 years and begin to clean up his mess and we as Americans voted him in again. For those who do not believe this I ask 1 question, why did gas prices raise and continue to do so for 7.5 years then drop drastically back lower than they were when he started his term, the answer he was filling his wallet and securing his future wallet as well that is the only answer that is not hidden behind fine print and attorney words the regular man would not understand.

so yes we as Americans seem to be quite dumb.
