Why some people are afraid of dying, and some aren't

to die instantly because the mobility of a person is put to an end by becoming a vegetable.

(f) Born with disability : Here again I would like to say something as I am born with a disability myself but wait, I will not say I would like to die instantly just because I am disabled that will be unfair of me to say such a thing at large because there maybe be many like me so I would like to address them for a minute yes, you do not lose hope so what if you are disabled live with your head held high saying everyday to yourself that I am no less then anyone and prove your worth through a hidden talent you are possessing.

Root of Fear:

If we look closely according to Buddha's statement many of our present fears are rooted in as "Delusions" "which are distorted ways of looking at ourselves and the world around us. If we learn to control, reduce and eventually eliminate these delusions, the source of our fear healthy and unhealthy, is eradicated."

So this brings us in categorizing fear into 2 types:

(1) Healthy Fear: In this type of fear you are well aware of the fear all the time and it is not that intense (The fear) that it takes over you and leaves you not in the state to resolve it.
(2) Balanced Fear: According to Buddha again when a person is suffering from his/her delusions this balanced fear serves to motive construction action to avoid a real danger.

Therefore what we can conclude from the sayings of Buddha is that "we only need fear as an impetus until we can remove the causes of the fear that is through mental and spiritual training of the mind and the people who are afraid of dieing are not able to put their balanced fear in action and get rid of their delusions." which in turn proves that some people are afraid of dieing and some are not because as John Maxwell rightly said " Life is what you make out of it."
