Eyes Like The Sky
Starring glamorously, gleaming into my sensual eyes
Trying to find a scape goat as you ask yourself why
You're scared to believe this man in me, truth hides
Yielding behind every word I speak IT never dies
You're buying yourself time as you dwell in line
Focusing ignorantly, still remembering that bastard set past
So unmasking when a man like me stands before you
You're blinded by sunlight in that of which you don't see
Never deprive your emotions, scared to share to show & why?
Because of a made set of rules you're use to? Second best would ever do
You are buying time as you silently stand within an invisible line
You are scared to walk with me, brightened by good things in a mist
Rays of sunlight dawning, shinning down upon me - so- just full of hope
Look into my eyes, can you see my thoughts, am in certain TV
A tube I cannot break the shield of, no one can see
They look through me, clearing behind but never through
Undying urges you may never become able to stand
When you 'settle' you open up to failure, you seem sure
Almost like you opened a new Dore-
Its you, you're afraid to try something new
After awhile you become accustomed to such
A damn cold hearted world, hear my sounds of truth shred
My vocal desire hiding my negatives.. As my mouth speaks
For you ask anything I will open up and spread these wings
Washed away these feelings with help from a veiling flood
Sweeping words never meant to cut me, god blessed her
From your heart, to mine- deeply she let me.. In but never to win
Choose your words more carefully as we can smile.. Ha
My anxiety builds from your closing in, your heart pumps emotional blood
Managed & stored without effort you start building ground
The person you are is a being always needed, sweetly unconditional
Seemed like you were trying to push me away among inadvertence
Hey, a big heart here inside a bright soul, like a shattered chipping rock
And yet, still, I'm no full-proof toy, figure again action men, don't turn me sour
With promising words that become broken words the tip is sharp cutting swords
Maybe I opened up, maybe I moved to fast-
Tried to confine, to hide as to not scare you away- Did I fail?
After I looked into your eyes, sweeping through and saw a million betrayals
Saw myself, there, you, sorrowful- needing a valance, me, comforting you
Don't turn on me now, already a feeling of partiality silently sleeping
The sun burns on as we lay in a field under the sky-Dreaming
Then, but not to late, realized your eyes are like the sky
Your overall

Poetry: Love & darkness
"Kiss the Darkness"
I'm slowly being driven
To taste the forbidden fruit
Is this urge from within myself
Or does it have deeper
Listen all and listen well
For I have a sad, sad tale to tell
of love and darkness, yes it's true
They can co-exist for me
by Dylan Gilman
Listen closely
I do not judge you
but I can see you
and I most certainly
know you
Underneath it all
you are very small
and if
Her heart is broken
What have you done?
These words, unspoken
All act as one
In her mind you seemed so perfect
In the light you
by Jon Coe
Facing darkness, in love
ticking loudly, my dove
Seconds, fly, away
hours, turn, into day
Blindly tunneling, to dark
heart leads,
