Watching your husband spend quality time with the kids is a joy to every woman's heart. Knowing how much time and effort he puts in to being a great dad, loving wives want to give the perfect Father's Day gift to her husband. It doesn't have to be difficult. There are two fail-proof ways of always giving him just what he wants. Pay absolute attention to him when he is shopping, watching television or sharing what he is doing or learn to think like a man!
Every woman desiring to give her husband the perfect gift must love him enough to pay attention when he speaks. If your man is typical, he loves sports and tickets see the team he loves play would be perfect. When out shopping together, if he wants to run over to the sporting goods section or the electronics department, go with him. Play close attention to not only what he looks at but to what he says about it. If you need to, carry a notebook and, when he is not looking, write down brand names and model numbers. If you do this for two or three months, you should compile a decent list to choose from to surprise him on his day!
Does your husband like going out or staying home? Create a day he would love. Going out to the lake and fishing may not be your idea of a perfect day, but take a book and read while he fishes or learn to love fishing too. Remember, the perfect gift has to be about him. If he is the stay-at-home kind of guy, a perfect gift might be a day full of his favorite food doing what he likes to do with no expectations of him. Let him set on the couch and be a potato and feed him snacks and watch the latest action film with him.
Thinking like a man is a little more difficult. Just as they say that most women dress to please women while they think they are pleasing men, women must be careful not to shop for the perfect gift for him that she would love to get. Don't just give up and go the route of the necktie or golf balls. Many men love doing things with their hands, but if you can't get him to tell you what he wants, think like a man. Men love to pick out things for themselves. A great flashlight or a fancy pocket knife might be the perfect gift for your man. Sometimes the perfect gift is a money card that will let him buy just what he needs to finish his latest project or start his next one.
The perfect Father's Day gift only exists in theory. Get to know your husband to find his and you will find that the benefit of knowing him will have results that last far beyond Father's Day.
