Travelling is power. People who travel often, are more knowledgable about the world, and know where life will take them. Travellers who are not afraid of taking a risk and venturing into the unknown for the sake of adventure are more likely to make a success of any situation. Many travellers become different people once they have gone on so many expeditions. Travellers instills a lot of self- confidence and a lot self belief in the traveller.

People who travel often make many friends along the way. These people are generally from different nationalities, and today with the advancement of technology, many people can keep in contact with the friends that they have made from different countries. This brings power to the traveller as visiting new countries becomes easier, as having contacts can make a lot of things easier. The traveller who wishes to emigrate to another country can aways contact these friends when in time of need, and this can secure the travellers security as well.

People who travel a lot have more knowledge of the world, and understand how things work in different countries. It is also more empowering to work and travel to other countries as this gives the traveller a clearer understanding of politics, money, work ethics and lifestyle requirement of different countries. Working in different countries is also empowering because the traveller can attain citizenship if he/she has stayed there for a number of years. People also learn many things about visa requirements, and work permits. Many people from third world countries can get better opportunities in countries like Saudi Arabia and Dubai after working for some time in countries like United Kingdom and Australia. Gaining citizenship and a passport can also make future travel plans easier.

Travelling also teaches the traveller about the culture and traditions of other countries. Travellers become very knowledgeable about other other countries and places, and some of them also see opportunities in certain areas , and take advantage of this. people from the United Kingdom generally buy property from oversees countries like Spain and Portugal, and when they retire they decide to live in these parts of the world as it is cheaper and the quality for life is better.

Travellers also learn a lot about different ways of treating many aliments by traditioanl medicines in other countries. People can also learn new ways and skills of doing things, because different people depending on thier nationality re-act differently to situations.
