College life becomes nostalgic and you tend to remember it as a chapter that you would like to go back into if given a second chance. Perhaps everyone would definitely have a good way of describing their times in college spiced up with various activities and diversified peers. College becomes a learning platform for every individual and it incorporates a learning instinct whereby it is carried on as a resource for a successful venture in life.
After completion of my high school, I had to leave my home country to study abroad and this changed my entire life. Starting from getting exposed to meeting people with different thoughts and esteemed professor, I believe I had a chance to learn and prove myself worth believing a well educated individual.
Four years in India, a country with huge cultural diversity comprising of numerous district and people varying in language was a good place to learn to interact. It was about fifty times larger than my country, a small landlocked sandwiched between India and China. However the competence in the society made me stand tall despite growing up in a developing country.
The first thing I had to do was start learning Indian language as very few people were comfortable in communicating through English medium. Therefore it was like collecting water from droplets, I had to learn from the scrap so as to have a interactive cooperation with everyone in the college. Though it made me toil hard but I think I have learnt it quite well and could now speak it without mixing any other languages.
The remaining times in India I had an opportunity to visit various places and landmarks of the country making me clear about its historical importance. India holds places such as deserts, near sea shore and even at Himalayan ranges. The people spoke different regional languages having different dressing patterns with completely unique culture and traditions. Even the religion is diversified to Hindu, Muslim, Buddhism and Christianity.
The University has students and professors from entire state and some from different countries making it a type of cultural gathering. The cultural show exhibited the variance making it a beautiful and gracious exposure. Learning was made easier with enough implementation of all required support in terms of technical and scientific lab.
And now after three years from graduating from this college and returning back to the country, I lie back on my cot and sometimes start recalling every memorable incident which gives me the best pleasure in having a chance to go to college. Now if anyone asks me this same question, I would go in length describing everything just as if it was a day old memory.
