Since the beginning of time music has had a firm grasp on the way in which we as a people function. Soft and harmonic melodies help to soothe the soul, more up tempo beats get our blood pumping, and rhythmic patterns of sounds leave us giddy inside. Minds ravaged with thoughts as a result of being influenced by this chaotic life we live set's up a platform for stress to create havoc on the very fabric of our well being. That's where the hypnotic vibrations and sounds of music serve as a pure remedy to weed out the negative juices that consumes us. Focusing on the therapeutic sounds of music allows us to escape our bodies momentarily, and relieve the pressures that weigh heavily on our shoulders.
Music has been one of the major strengths and backbones of our society since the caveman day's simply because the artistry of sounds registers in our minds and calms the flames that burn within us too deep to understand. Village people utilize music as a way of communicating and healing spiritual ills that plague their way of living and release these mental viruses thru a special song and dance. In any church you'll see that the congregation of church members unite their voices with music so as to feel joyful and showcase the camaraderie they feel amongst their brothers and sisters. When we clean our house or drive our car, having something to listen to helps us to focus on the task at hand. We can be our worst enemy at times because of how our minds run overboard, causing panic attacks, heart attacks, nervous breakdowns, and other stress related illnesses. For high strung individuals maybe taking a moment to kick back and close your eyes while listening to a meditation CD or tape, possibly the sounds of nature or the waves of an ocean, could help to ease the pains of tension that hold you down. The mind is fragile, but still the heart and soul of any individual with a pulse and blood running thru their veins, so relaxing the brain from time to time could definitely be beneficial for us all.
Music can be generated from our voices, the clapping of hands, two items banging up against each other, the sounds of running water, on and so forth. Whatever you consider to be therapeutic music, to each his own. Music is constant , being that it has been a tenant on this land since before time and will remain here till the end. Utilize the incredible healing powers of music so as to keep your mind strong and stable because no matter what happens in the near future music will never turn it's back on you in your darkest hour. So keep the lights on and your spirits raised high and realize that you always have music as an outlet for your internal problems and nothing can keep you down for long.
